From their modern workshops in Melbourne, they have the ability to get the job done.  In 1994, Ausramp founder Greg Brown, realised the need for a light weight loading ramp for the earthmoving and civil construction industries. With a background in aluminium fabrication, Greg designed a unique channel profile from aluminium, capable of supporting this type of heavy equipment and began production in a farm shed in Somerville Victoria. The ramps, able to be loaded and handled by one person, proved to be just what the contractors were looking for.
